1st grade teacher Emily and Math Interventionist Kathleen taught the first graders, including Cordelia, Cal, and Landon, a new game that helps them practice recognizing the patterns in a 100s chart. Once they've learned and practiced the game as a whole group, students can play independently in small groups as part of the math-time routines in the classroom. Family discussion question: How would the patterns on the chart change if it started with a 0 instead of a 1?
