The Speech & Debate Team traveled to Champlain Valley Union High School for their first JV scrimmage. 6th graders JB, Ben, and Sophia, 8th grader Conall, and 7th grader Amos competed in impromptu, prepared oratory, and a debate about artificial intelligence. Students had to compete in three rounds and with all that practice, everyone learned and improved on the spot. Thanks to parent volunteer Sara Stinson for helping to drive and judge at the scrimmage.
